Palermo in winter, ideas for Christmas and New Year’s Day

Other spectacular monuments are the magnificent Teatro Massimo, which has the record for the biggest theatre in Italy, and the beautiful Teatro Politeama. Around these two theatres, however, there are the most elegant and sophisticated shopping streets of Palermo. During summer you must visit Mondello, lovely seaside suburb of the city, caressed by a sea of Caribbean colours.
