Enchanting and magical island in the famous Gulf of Naples, Ischia is truly a treasure chest from the nature and landscape point of view. Each year it attracts many tourists from all over the world, wishing to plunge into its beautiful crystal clear sea, and to admire its romantic and picturesque views. We suggest you to visit Ischia also during the Christmas and New Year Holidays, for a unique and particular vacation.

Ischia is one of the Flegree islands. The island is connected to the mainland by several ferry that leave daily from the port of Naples. The area of old Ischia is truly wonderful and it is called Ischia Ponte. Here you can enjoy a relaxing walk, admiring the town centre and lingering lazily to eat something in one of the many bars and restaurants in the area. In Ischia Ponte, some of the most beautiful beaches on the island is the Lido beach, very well equipped, offering white sand, and the fishermen’s beach. But all the coasts of Ischia, are a succession of magnificent and sensational bays.

The beach of San Montano, is surrounded by the green, and kissed by a truly stunning turquoise sea; the beach of Maronti is one of the largest in all of Ischia, and the popular beach of Citara, offers the famous thermal baths Giardini Poseidon. St. Angelo beach is also very picturesque, with its typical town practically close to the beautiful beach.

In Ischia Ponte, there are also several very beautiful and majestic churches, among which we remember the Church of St. Antonio, the Church of the Holy Spirit and the magnificent Cathedral of the Assunta. All of the villages in Ischia are really beautiful and worth visiting. Ischa Porto anyway is the village with the largest tourist influx. But we are sure that the green island of Ischia with its magnificent and rich vegetation, and its wonderful natural beauty will enchant any visiting tourist.
