Mantua (Mantova) is a beautiful town in Lombardy, which lies on the banks of the Mincio. It’s a town rich in history, culture and beautiful monuments. One of the most beautiful squares of the city is the immense Piazza Sordello, which is surrounded by several monuments of rare beauty, like the magnificent Palazzo Ducale, the Palazzo Acerbi with its majestic Torre della Gabbia, the magnificent Bishop’s Palace, the magnificent Palace Bonacolsi and the spectacular Cathedral of Mantua.

There is not a better period to visit Tuscany. It is indeed fascinating and beautiful throughout the year. In winter, however, and especially during the holiday season, this land has a really particular charm.
