Etna: the charm of the sicilian volcano!

etna-volcano-sicilyMajestic active volcano in eastern Sicily, in the area near Catania, the Etna with its 3.340 meters, is the highest active volcano in Europe. This volcano, which periodically overflows lava by its many craters, has a visceral and ancestral link with all of the Sicilian people, and especially with those of the provinces of Catania and Messina, who are closer. The Etna in fact enjoys the great respect that the Sicilian people have also towards the other volcano in this land: the volcano of Stromboli in the Aeolian Islands.

Syracuse (Siracusa), in Sicily, is a beautiful and charming city in south-eastern Sicily. It is full of many beautiful monuments attributed the golden age of Greek domination in this area, one for all the wonderful Greek Theatre in Siracusa. But the city is full of many other wonderful works of art that exude history.
